Hotmail Bugs & Problems

Forwarding deactivation

The most well-known issue with Hotmail is the automatic deactivation of the forwarding function when logging directly into the email interface. This problem has existed for several years and still has no official solution. The only reliable way to avoid it is not to log in to the Hotmail mailbox directly.

If you need to change your password or update security settings, it’s recommended to access your account via the Microsoft account dashboard rather than through Hotmail itself.

If you accidentally log into Hotmail and your forwarding gets disabled, you can always contact us. We will reconnect the forwarding function on any affected accounts.

Emails are delayed

This is the second potential issue. It doesn’t happen often, but it can occur.

The solution is simple: before important events, it’s recommended to contact us in advance so we can reconnect the forwarding for your account. Please try to reach out at least one day before the event whenever possible. If every client writes to us just an hour before, we simply won’t have enough time to process all requests. Also to resolve the email delays, it is recommended to change the master email. Additionally, splitting forwarding so it’s 100 HM per 1 master email can make forwarding more stable.

Email Test

If you want to test the functionality of forwarding, it's better to try receiving an OTP (one-time password) from a service, as personal emails, especially meaningless ones, are likely to be filtered by Microsoft's algorithms and sent to junk, with the sender being blocked
